Man stabbed in Pinetown

A MAN in his thirties was stabbed in what is believed to be an attempted hijacking in Pinetown last night.

According to Garrith Jamieson, the operations director for Rescue Care, paramedics arrived  just after 5pm and found the man had been stabbed in the arm and was moderately injured. The stabbing occurred near the intersection of Josiah Gumede Road (Old Main) and Anderson Road. The man was stabilised at the scene and  taken to hospital.
