Bikers rev up support for children’s home

Anthea and Wayne Smith.

HUNDREDS of bikers roared onto the old driving range behind the Pavilion Shopping Centre for the annual Ushaka Rally event.

The aim of the ride was to create awareness about biking as well as raise much-needed funds for a charity. The chosen organisation was the Ethelbert Children’s Home in Queensburgh. Twelve of the children were excited to be chosen to attend the gathering and were given rides around the area on souped up bikes.
