Next of kin sought by Pinetown police

PINETOWN detectives are looking for the relatives or family of the deceased white man whose decomposed body was found hanging in the bushes near M19 highway and Otto Volek road in New Germany, Pinetown on Tuesday, 14 March.

The deceased man was discovered by person who was looking for firewood and alerted  the police. The deceased is about 50-years-old and his body was discovered at approximately 3pm on Tuesday.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have information on the next of kin or who can identify the deceased to contact the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Mariette Smith on 031 325 5054 or the Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
