Crafted stitches make colourful blankets

Proudly holding their gorgeous blanket are Jordan Walsh, Ryan Sutton, Spaso Curach and Kunashe Kamwendo.

THE true Highbury Heart philosophy has been reflected in the colourful blankets which the Highbury Grade 4 learners have crocheted with love.

Each Grade at Highbury supports and blesses a specific charity and the Grade 4 boys are supporting the Robin Hood Foundation.

“Learning to crochet was at times challenging, but the boys are incredibly proud of their bright creations which will not only be useful but special too.

The boys will continue with their crocheting and will create more blankets which they plan to handover in Term 3,” said Highbury marketing and communications coordinator, Camilla Blomfield.
