WOZA Moya and Embocraft invite the Highway community to its first piano evening with well-known local pianist Count Filip Kormuth on Tuesday, 25 April from 6pm.

The cost is R100 per person and includes a classical music show, a light supper and art exhibition at Woza Moya Embocraft.

Count will play his own works as well as those by Albeniz, Chopin, Liszt and Debussy.

Lazarus, a local metal artist, will set up an exhibition of smaller, recycled metal animals and birds found in the Woza Gallery.

The concert is to raise funds for Embocraft and Woza Moya’s training programmes.

“Join us for a relaxed, cultural evening in Botha’s Hill,” said Woza Moya’s Paula Thomson.

“We are keeping it simple for our first evening and think it is going to be wonderful. We hope, with local support, to make this a monthly event.”

The supper will be prepared by local chef, Charmaine Corbett, who will make wholesome, homemade butternut and minestrone soup, homemade breads and pate. This will be accompanied by a complimentary glass of wine or juice.
