POLICE are still investigating the motive behind the shooting which left one man injured just outside Hillcrest, near the M13 offramp yesterday afternoon (15 June).

Blue Security media and community liaison officer Andreas Mathios said the man was shot near the bus stop on the M13 at around 3.45pm.

“He was shot in his left forearm and the bullet exited through his lower back. Fortunately no spinal injuries were suffered.

“He was treated at the scene before being transported to hospital. The gunman fled the scene on foot,” Mathios said.
