St Benedict learners care for one another

Grade 1 learners, Kezia Naidoo and Yamkela Mabaso, with Jessica Collings (Grade 11).

ST Benedict School held its annual Unity Day on Friday, 16 March, a day when the normal demands of the school are set aside and time is spent getting to know other people in the school a little better.

This year, the school adopted the theme of ‘I care’ and the day focused on the fact that everyone is special and can make a difference in the world.

The day began and ended with a service in the school hall and the time between was spent fostering closer relationships between the high school and primary school learners.

Every high school class was assigned to a primary school class and fun activities were planned, including Easter egg hunts, face-painting, biscuit decorating and more.

The day is always a huge success and cements the family ethos of the school.
