Snow expected, prepare for the weekend chill

DURBANITES are going to have to break out an extra blanket or two this weekend as snowfall is predicted in Lesotho and the Drakensberg.

According to SnowReport SA’s founder, Rob Ansell, significant amounts of snow is expected  in both areas on Friday, 13 into Saturday, 14 July.

“A few flurries of snow might also be likely over parts of KZN such as Underberg, Impendle and Matatiele this Saturday. On Sunday we can expect a little more snow over eastern Lesotho but all snowfall should cease on Sunday evening,” said Ansell.

Rob Ansell and Richard Le Sueur will head out to Sani Pass on Saturday and Sunday and will post live from the site.
