GRADE 10 learner at Thomas More College, Kailin Wiggett, is the high school SPAR Star of the Month

Kailin Wiggett represented KZN at this year’s interprovincial tournament for the Dance Sport Schools’ League at Glenwood during the July holidays.

She participated in the fiercely-fought U16 girls’ section.

Kailin became the DSSL’s first triple national champion by winning gold in the solo, duo and crews sections. Subsequently, she was selected for the DSSL’s SA All Stars team. This is now her fourth year participating in the fast-growing DSSL.

She previously represented South Africa in hip-hop and breakdancing at the IDO World Championships in Denmark. Kailin also plays U16A hockey and soccer at Thomas More College, and participates in many of the school’s stage productions.
