According to Pinetown SAPS communications officer, Capt Bongumusa Manqele, a man went to a Pharmacy in Hill Street and posed as a customer.
“When he was supposed to pay for his medication he ordered the pharmacy staff to open the till and give him money. While he was taking the money from the till five more suspects emerged and took medication and cellphones from other staff members.
“An amount of R5000, cellphones and medication were taken. The suspects fled the scene without firing any shots,” said Manqele.
