The Farmers’ Market was open for business for the Queensburgh community to enjoy fresh produce, food and crafts on Friday, 1 September.

‘Fete’ accompli at Browns School

HIGHWAY families flocked to the popular annual Browns’ School Fete that took place on Saturday, 2 September. Apart from loads of lovely bargains in various stalls, there was a delicious selection of foods and fabulous entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

Women encouraged to aim for greatness

A day to empower and spark greatness among teenagers and older women was held at the Pinetown Methodist Church recently. There were three guest speakers who targeted different age groups.

All the children were dressed in traditional clothes and greeted the guests in the official language of the country they represented.

St John’s men pamper women

EN from St John’s the Baptist Anglican Church donned their aprons to spoil the women on Saturday morning in celebration of Women’s Month. Madam Justice Nompumele Radebe was the guest speaker for the day who motivated the women and taught them about the law.
